This is how they create the string.


There are lots of strings in stock.


They create them by hand. They can describe the landscape as they spin the string!

We had a workshop where we used the tools.

It requires you to switch between your feet, which can be difficult to get used to.

The smaller ones are around P300 to P2,000.

The larger ones cost around P10,000. The one on the left represents the Okavango Delta, and the one on the right represents diamonds.
As you can see in the article below, during their heyday they produced a wide variety of products, but now they only produce wall hangings.
